Universe Designer Workshop
Workshop Description
This three day SAP BusinessObjects Universe Design Workshop provides all the skills needed to design, build and maintain a BusinessObjects universe. Delegates will learn universe design concepts and terminology as well as the role of universes in relation to BusinessObjects reporting trolls, the course provides an overview of the process of planning, designing and creating a universe, and then walks through the process of designing a universe that responds to identified user requirements.
Delegates will learn best-practice methodology for creating universes that respond to their users' reporting requirements. Through well-designed universes, report designers and business users will be able to create their own reports without having to know anything about the underlying data source or structure.

Audience
This workshop is designed for universe designers, new to SAP BusinessObjects Designer, who need to design, build, document, maintain, and distribute BusinessObjects universes.
Workshop Style
A large percentage of this workshop is practical based. Delegates will carry out activities throughout the workshops that are relevant to the BusinessObjects environment using a purpose-built training database.
Pre requisite Knowledge, Experience and Education
- Exposure to SQL
Delivery & Duration
This is a 3 day, instructor led workshop. The first two days are spent on learning the product against a demo database. The third day is then focused on working with the clients data.
This can be delivered either on your site or at our suite in Birmingham.
