IT Performs Sponsor Higher Education Event

“Taking the MICC in HE” covers the “horrible histories” of management information at the University of Liverpool and how the future is looking brighter with the help of SAP BusinessObjects and their partners in implementing the concepts of a Business Intelligence Competency Centre adapted for use in Higher education. The Management Information Competency Centre is part of LUMIS, an ambitious project with some JISC funding and full Senior Management support to change the culture and delivery of management information reporting throughout a new institutional structure. Sam Denniss, the Head of Business Information Systems and Services has been involved in the technical delivery of management information from the very start and he has aged accordingly.
