SAP Business Objects Dashboards formerly known as Xcelsius is the first and only dynamic and customisable data visualisation software that enables users of different skill levels to create insightful and engaging dashboards with point-and-click ease.

- Xcelsius Introduction.
- Navigate in Xcelsius.
- How to use and format the different types of components.
- How to create Interactive models (e.g. what if my sales increase by 5% what will by sales be?) Also how to use alerts within a dashboard (e.g. alert me when my profit drops by 10%, or increases by 30%)
- How to use Analytics within the BI Platform / BI Launch pad and with BI Workspaces.
- Exporting dashboards to Flash, HTML, Publish to PowerPoint, Outlook, or Adobe PDF.
- How to create a unique style and template to a dashboard that is specific to your organisation.
- How to create dynamic dashboard that refresh automatically (e.g. a dashboard that refreshes every 10 minutes)
- Dashboard design tips and best practice.
Audience & Pre-requisites
This course is intended for a general business user who wants to get more from their data by creating interactive dashboards.
No pre-requisites required.
Delivery & Duration
This is a two day instructor lead course that is designed to take the student through the basics of SAP Business Objects Dashboards through to designing complex interactive dashboards.
There is an offer of an optional extra day where students are encouraged to bring in a sample set of their own data and will put the skills learnt within the first two days of this course to the test. On this day students, with the help of the instructor, will build their own dashboard based on their company data.
The training can be delivered either on your site or at one of our training venues around the UK.
