Historically the business reported 15 working days after month end. Through a process of consolidation of 9 back offices into one shared service centre (SSC) through a process referred to as One Speedy, we had reduced this down to 9 working days prior to implementation of BPC. Since BPC we have further reduced this to 6 working days – so it would be fair to say that BPC has helped reduce the month end process by possibly 3 working days .....but the benefits of the system are far more.
